It was three straight days of trade conference bliss

There isn't anything like swimming in the bright white spotlight. Though the minutes and seconds before stepping on stage are another matter entirely. You're pacing backstage trying to blow warmth into your fingers, humming a tune to keep the pipes loose and limber, overhearing the Emcee out front tell jokes and prepare to announce you, watching the stage crew’s clock so that you’re in position when the curtain pulls back. And as she announces, “…The greatest acoustic duo in the world!…” you smirk at your Maestro and step out into your twenty minutes of glory. And what did we do?
